Tasks/Responsibilities:

· Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area

· Read and interpret work orders to determine materials needed and types of parts to be processed

· Follow instruction and Product Work Instructions (PWI’s) to build electrical elements, temperature probes, float switches, lighting and pressure sensor assemblies using hand tools

· Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials

· Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements

· Assemble pump and motor configurations using hand tools

· Perform in process tests as specified to ensure proper function

· Track work by documenting work orders or part orders

· Handle packing, shipping and receiving making sure all parts and pieces are accounted for (QA)

· Follow Shop QA procedures setup by Shop Lead and Production Manager

· Use forklift and pallet jack as necessary

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed or directed

· Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs

· Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job

· Help maintain a clean shop; sweep and take out garbage at days ends to prepare for the next

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

· High School Diploma/ GED

· Manufacturing experience preferred but not required

· Mechanical/ Electrical Aptitude or interest

· Proficiency and experience with hand, power/electrical tools and equipment

· Ability and willingness to work overtime if needed

· Ability to read a tape measure, schematics and drawings desired

Desired Characteristics & Abilities:

· Willingly accepts job challenges and works well under pressure

· Self-starter – able to work with minimal direction or supervision

· Team player – quick to lend a hand or help out if the need arises

· Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

· Craftsmanship – pride one puts into each and every task/product they produce

· Able to lift heavy objects (10-40lbs)

Other Valuable Knowledge:

· Knowledge of the brewing process or commercial brewing experience

· Experience with inventory software systems

· Troubleshooting electronic or electrical systems
