HUMAN SERVICES C.R.E.A.T.E. HOPE CLINICIAN ADVOCATE
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or a related field from an accredited university. Licensed or Provisionally licensed clinician in State of North Carolina. Experience: Mental health experience working with children. Training and experience working with victims of trauma. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Required to consent to a driver's record check through the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles prior to employment. Consent to an annual driver's record check through the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Must be able to provide assessment, treatment, advocacy, and wraparound support for clients in C.R.E.A.T.E. Hope Program. Develop and implement treatment based on specific needs of client and non-offending caregiver using evidence-based treatment modalities. Must provide crisis intervention for client's and families on caseload. Must complete home visits with client and caregiver, attend relevant meetings and appointments for clients, and be willing to provide transportation and assistance accessing resources for clients and non-offending caregivers. Ability to work and make decisions independently. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Advance technical writing skills required. Completion of all required documentation using electronic health records system according to required timelines. Able to work a flexible schedule. Extended work hours are necessary on occasion due to crisis intervention, immediate needs of child or caregiver, and implementation of group therapy in evenings (on a rotating basis). Must provide 24 hours accessibility by phone, including weekends and holidays, when assigned on-call coverage for CHP.
