Marketing Assistant Wanted for the #1 MA-based Solar Installer

POSITION DESCRIPTION – THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION

TITLE: Marketing Assistant

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Support marketing director in organizing various projects including organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Organizing and executing in field promotional events including several events at Fenway Park on game days
  • Prepare marketing presentations
  • Manage outside supply partners and order materials when necessary (print, apparel and other merchandise)
  • Assist in the development, management and execution of content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Draft and send approved emails for various marketing campaigns; manage email templates
  • Oversee the marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  • Assist Marketing Director in overseeing outside vendors and agencies
  • Ad hoc projects for CEO and company director
  • Videography and design (Drone pilot license and Adobe Suite knowledge a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools such as Sales Force, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing automation & email marketing tools (Marketing Cloud a plus).
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly and apply new skills.
  • Desire to research and find out what to ask
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BS/BA
  • 1-2 years marketing or communications experience
