Supervisor, Customer Service and Logistics

Bento Delivery is looking for a Supervisor for our Customer Service and Logistics Department to help oversee and manage the success of our team of Customer Service & Logistics representatives. The Supervisor will exemplify a firm understanding of all software systems and logistics operations to support their team and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations, while displaying exceptional customer service skills in assisting with escalated customer situations and helping maintain customer satisfaction. They will monitor and provide feedback on the team's productivity and performance through analyzing data reports and KPI’s, completing quality assurance checks, and providing coaching & training. The Supervisor assists with scheduling and timesheet verification on a regular basis. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, detail-oriented, and maintains a high level of integrity and professionalism. The Supervisor must always be committed to driving team and company goals and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee daily operations of the customer service/logistics team
  • Assist with escalated customer interactions
  • Coach staff members on improving customer service
  • Strong understanding of all software systems, integrations, and the related customer experience
  • Maintain staff scheduling and timesheet accuracy
  • Utilize different software systems to collect, analyze, and give feedback to staff members on their KPI data and productivity
  • Respond to customer reviews to maintain customer satisfaction and brand image
  • Train new & existing staff members
  • Interview & Onboard new staff members
  • Write and update standard operating procedures & training material
  • Assist manager with ongoing projects

Qualification Requirements:

  • +1 year of Customer Service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Flexible schedule. Ability to work nights and weekends to cover any open shifts as necessary
  • Ability to pass all required reference and background checks required by the company and mandated by the State of California and the City of Redwood City for cannabis industry employees
  • Good working knowledge of cannabis industry compliance rules and regulations
  • +60 WPM typing speed

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience as a supervisor or other management position in the cannabis industry.
  • College Degree
  • Experience in delivery logistics

Physical Requirement and Work Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
