Insights Analyst (Qualitative)

What You Wil Do as a Key Member of our Team:

As an Insights Analyst at Behaviorally, imagine yourself:

  • Responsible for the implementation of qualitative consumer research studies 
  • Provide support to Behaviorally’s team of Research Directors / Moderators by working with client companies to provide consistent communication between Behaviorally and client. 
  • To understand the background and intent of projects (i.e., via participating in "kick-off" conference calls, reviewing proposals and market research briefs, referencing past research, etc.) 
  • Lead the development of project timelines 
  • Lead analysis and draft solid reports 
  • Be the main point of contact for day-to-day client questions
  • Work jointly with the Director and Moderators to develop research plans and proposals 
  • Coordinate with Qualitative Field Supervisors 
  • Attend focus groups - responsibilities include client servicing (backroom), note taking, assisting the RD / Moderator 
  • Write, design and co-present PPT presentation of final findings 
  • Conduct asynchronous interviews online using platforms like Recollective, Voxpopme, Discuss.io

Desired skills and experience

To qualify and succeed, in the challenging but rewarding world we do business in, you will need:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or Sociology

  • 1-2 years of experience in qualitative consumer research
  • Strong writing and analytical ability 
  • Experience with online platforms like Recollective, Voxpopme, Discus.io and have conducted interviews on a platform/online community
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Proven ability to take responsibility, think analytically and to communicate clearly 
  • Comfort/Familiarity with analysis and Microsoft Office 365 
  • Ability/flexibility to travel 
  • Advanced level MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • Must be able to work independently yet be comfortable asking questions
