Key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage all Accounts Payable activities for assigned business unit.

  • Manage the performance and development of associates who are responsible for invoice transactions (direct and indirect materials).

  • Coordinate associate activities, ensuring appropriate scheduling, work allocation, timely responses to internal customers, ongoing improvement activities and a high level of team engagement.

  • Drive results in support of team performance objectives and the BPO.

  • Engage in transactional purchasing of indirect goods and services, depending on assignments and internal stakeholder needs.

  • Comply with BD's financial and quality regulations and guidelines.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you require

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related

  • Proven Microsoft Office suite, SAP (or similar ERP such as Oracle) and Coupa (or similar such as ARIBA) skills.

  • Minimum 3 years' Accounts Payable experience includinginvoice management, req. to pay processes; data entry/data processing experience, cost management practices.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory, or leadership role: planning, developing, organizing, directing, supervising, and evaluating staff.

  • Fluency in English required; bilingual in Spanish or French preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to assess priorities, multi-task, think independently and work with minimal supervision.
