A Senior Training Specialist’s primary responsibilities include identifying, developing and supporting the implementation of progressive competency-based technical training programs, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effectiveness within and across departments. In addition, coordinating and delivering on-boarding training for new personnel and facilitate cross-training within and across departments.
Creating and designing area training materials utilizing instructional design concepts:
Familiar with the following: ADDIE, SAM, Six Disciplines, Kirkpatrick etc. (training principles and models)
Strong knowledge of Articulate StoryLine 360
Creating area qualifications and supporting the effective delivery of performance-based assessments (PBA)
Developing and delivering for the assigned area(s):
The training program to support new employees’ on-boarding
Ongoing competency-building of skills and processes
Training resulting from identified human performance errors, and working with area management to develop and revise training curricula and maintain accurate assignments in LMS (Compliance Wire)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas preferred:
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) preferred.
4-7 years of experience focused on Instructional Design and e-learning development.
E-learning development experience must be current in the last 2 years.
Training certifications such as CPLP paired with relevant experience could substitute for other educational requirements.
