Serves as a technical consultant and the Manager for 800 MHz/P25 radios, deployment, inventory, storage, training, programming and ongoing support, ensuring completion of the state-wide IPSC P.25 conversion
Serves as a technical consultant and the Manager for deployment, inventory, training, and ongoing support for all PHPER communication devices.
Serves as backup technical consultant and the Manager for deployment, training, inventorying and ongoing support of LTE and cellular devices.
Serves as the Manager for deployment, training, inventorying and ongoing support of the PHPER satellite systems.
Serves as the liaison between PHPER and the Administrative Services Verizon liaison. Serves as a liaison with other state and federal agencies (i.e. Indiana State Police, Indiana National Guard, Indiana Department of Administration, Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Indiana Public Safety Commission, Indiana Department of Transportation and Local Health Departments.
Serves as the manager of all communications equipment purchased for the PHPER Program.
Serves as the Communications Lead during Strategic National Stockpile events.
Serves as the DOC Manager and/or DOC alternate Logistics Chief.
Serves as the backup technical consultant and the Manager for deployment, training, inventorying and ongoing support of deployable communication kits.
Develops written processes and procedures related to the use communications equipment as needed and provides input on the communications elements of agency emergency response plans.
Makes verbal and written presentations as needed Performs related work as required.
Occasional Travel required for Meetings and emergency response activities.
