BCW Media Monitoring Intern, Part-time (West Coast Region) Open to Pacific Time Zone locations The Role: We are looking for a part-time intern to monitor media coverage across the West Coast region for a Fortune 500 Big Brand client. This is an initial 3-month part-time opportunity with a possible extension that could potentially lead to full-time employment. Time commitment is approximately 20 hours per week.

The intern will be on the front lines of media monitoring and media research and will be consolidating all relevant findings for the team. This is an opportunity to work with BCW’s exciting client roster and a chance to be closely involved in a variety of public relations and earned media activities while developing real-world skills for a future career in public relations and marketing communications. This is a paid position. What you’ll do as you move with us: Media monitoring Researching media opportunities, building media lists and mapping media contacts Tracking and compiling client media coverage reports across brand and corporate reputation issues Conducting online research on clients, competitors, and industry trends Experience that contributes to your success: Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with a strong attention to detail Strong and through research capabilities and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Previous media monitoring experience and experience using media monitoring tools (Cision, Radian6, Gorkana, Vocus, etc.) a plus Internship(s) in public relations and agency experience a plus Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives and training opportunities About BCW (A WPP Agency): What does it mean to be part of BCW and the WPP network?
