Palo Alto office of an AmLaw firm seeks electronics patent associate attorney with 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field and have strong patent prosecution skills. Must preferably have technical and/or patent experience with digital and analog electronics, optoelectronics, materials engineering, semiconductor fabrication technologies, memory devices, systems and architectures, signal processing (audio signal processing) and augmented/virtual reality applications (including use of haptic inputs and/or outputs). Must be in good standing and an active member of the California State Bar. Must be registered to practice before the Patent Office.

Additional Skills: The candidate should have strong legal writing and research skills, top academics and law firm experience. Must hold a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
