BBSI is currently seeking a Receptionist/Admin Assistant for a 3 month contract to hire opportunity paying $14.00 hourly. Hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Receptionist/Admin assistant is responsible for giving correct information to callers and transfers calls to the appropriate department and or offices; performs clerical, data entry, and other related duties as required while following the company culture of “Do the RIGHT Thing”.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Screen and transfer incoming calls to the appropriate department.
Operate the switchboard.
Provide a highly organized and competent telephone operator service both internally and externally on all aspect of telecommunication.
Take and transmit messages.
Perform general clerical work as assigned including typing tasks.
Work cooperatively and courteously with management and co-workers.
Organize and file paperwork for completed jobs.
Assist other departments as needed and or directed.
Operate a variety of office equipment including a headset, computer, scanner, fax machine, postage machine, and copier.
Prepare mail for pick-up.
Data gathering and/or processing when needed.
Adhere to the company culture of “Do the RIGHT Thing”.
Performs other related duties as assigned and or directed by management.
Assemble ‘goodie bags’ to hand out.
Follow up on completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
