Within our Sales Rep Rotational Program, you will rotate throughout four parts of our BBP team, including Operations, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Industry Management. This program caters to a student looking for a well-rounded experience where they can learn what it is like to work within different roles throughout BBP. Job Purpose: Inside Sales
BBP is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to join our inside sales team and will be responsible for forging and nurturing long-term relationships while interpreting and recommending technical solutions to customers.
Duties and responsibilities: Inside Sales
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:
· Maintain expert level knowledge of product’s technical features and integration with customer applications
· Interpret customer drawings and technical specifications to recommend solutions
· Develop proposals and quotes for company products
· Work in a team environment to service customers and facilitate long-term customer retention and satisfaction
· Able to work effectively in a high-volume customer interaction with technically-oriented products
Job Purpose: Industry Management
BBP is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to join their outsides sales team. As a strategic member of their highly collaborative organization, the Industry Manager will directly manage 8-10 OEM accounts, work with Account Managers as a general industry specialist to identify new business opportunities, and support growth of targeted industries across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: Industry Management
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:
- Pursue and win project and day to day business
- Identify and scope out capital projects, expansions, retrofits, etc.
- Update and communicate specific sales action plans to ensure success with all product lines
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within the established territory
- Proactively communicate opportunities across outside sales channel and with manufacturers
- Develop technical knowledge to be a resource for the customer base
- Specify/recommend products to meet customer applications
- Become subject matter expert for major product lines
Job Purpose: Operations
BBP is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to join our operations team in assembling products such as sensors and control valves. The Assembly Technician will perform routine maintenance, installation and integration of various types of equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Operations
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:
- Work closely with sensors and valve automation teams by manually assembling products
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Requires technical product knowledge and high levels of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems aptitude
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Perform quality control checks on all assemblies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job purpose: Outside Sales
BBP is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to join our outsides sales team. As a strategic member of highly collaborative organization, the outside sales representative will identify new business opportunities, manage assigned accounts and support sales growth activities of the organization.
