The Finance Department at BBB National Programs plays a vital role in supporting the organization's operations and mission. The finance team is responsible for all the finance and accounting activities in the organization, managing cash flow, forecasts, day-to-day accounting, and generating financial statements following generally accepted accounting principles.


In this role you will support our Finance department with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure invoices and related expenses are processed in accordance with organizational policies and observance of required deadlines
  • Communicate and work with vendors to address issues and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Prepare reconciliations (bank reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.)
  • Process and record cash deposits daily
  • Identify, communicate, and assist with various collections issues
  • Assist with the reconciliation of customer balances
  • Process payroll and related benefits payments on a biweekly basis
  • Assist in annual audit and month-end close activities
  • Support organization tax filings (1099s, tangible returns, etc.)
  • Assist with 401k census reporting
  • Ability to take on ad hoc projects as needed and handle process improvements


Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (accounting, finance)
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles
  • Ability to work independently to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to begin work or undertake a project on their own initiative
  • Ability to work under time constraints and maintain composure in dynamic situations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Communicates effectively to a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Covid-19 Vaccination
