This position supports the Production Department by performing all cleaning, and preparation duties as well as performing all pre-weigh functions, in accordance with written and verbal procedures. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of the work area with respect to department standards, policies, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) while providing support to all Production areas as needed.
Principal responsibilities include:
Participate in all site safety programs. Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform cleaning of process equipment and production areas
Perform Pre-weigh activities.
Perform assembly and disassembly of production equipment.
Remove and compact production refuse.
Clean and sanitize product containers.
Perform Calibration activities.
Assist in training of less experienced Technicians in procedures.
Support production department as required and assigned.
Accurately and efficiently complete equipment setups.
Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation requirements of the Manufacturing area.
This position will involve frequent interaction with all department personnel (including more experienced technicians, coordinator, supervisor, team leaders and administrators) for decision making, and receiving of assignments. Open communication and relationships with all other departments is essential to performing this job function. Occasional contact with customers is possible. Professional business interactions are mandatory. This position will involve training from higher level Technicians, as well as assisting to train lower level technicians. This position reports to the Production Supervisor, with functional reporting to the Team Leaders.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
H.S. Diploma or GED required.
Production or manufacturing experience preferred.
Mechanical knowledge preferred.
