JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of accounting duties per established policies and procedures. This Collections Representative role will primarily be assisting with accounts receivable.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make outbound/receive inbound correspondence to/from customers

  • Assist the team in carrying out collections and reporting activities to ensure timely receipt of order payments

  • Provide customer service support regarding payments, refunds, account adjustments, client discrepancies, and short payments

  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts

  • This position will utilize B-Stock's online administrative system to track outstanding orders, enable or disable a customer's bidding and site eligibility, process incoming payments, record any collection notes and cancel orders when necessary

  • Actively seek ways to help strengthen the team and organizational performance

  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary to support the Accounting Department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experiences in Collections or Accounts Receivable handing collections as part of the job

  • Experience with NetSuite

  • Ability to read, sort, check, count and verify numbers

  • Computer data entry skills

  • Good interpersonal, verbal, written & telephone skills

  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-

    paced and dynamic work environment

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and on multiple projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • MS Word and MS Excel a plus
