JOB SUMMARY
B-Stock is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager, to work closely with the B-Stock account managers, sellers and buyer teams. Working closely with B-Stock's account managers, the Channel Marketing Manager will marry customer insights with innovative marketing tactics to drive compelling buyer campaigns, with performance tracking, to drive buyer demand across B-Stock's private marketplaces. The Channel Marketing Manager will assist in the development of marketing tools to support account management efforts based on customer insights and data-backed hypotheses while monitoring marketplace performance and KPI's
Chartered with building and managing the systems, processes, and tools that will assist our account management team in achieving great results even as we scale through hyper-growth, this role requires the willingness and ability to actively manage multiple, simultaneous projects; the skills to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders across B-Stock's organization; and the ability to cultivate strong, strategic relationships with external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working with account managers who lead B-Stock's relationship with the nation's largest retail, mobile, and consumer goods companies to develop buyer demand through the deployment of demand campaigns, launch campaigns, while measuring the conversion of buyer registrations to active and engaged bidders and buyers.
You will develop and execute an enterprise marketing plan in partnership with account managers to create awareness and engagement with buyers through segmented email, direct mail and event tactics plus new creative ideas based on customer insights
Work with account management teams to identify new growth opportunities and develop the GTM plan to realize the opportunity based on customer insights i.e. commercial innovation marketing to buyers across the full spectrum of marketing GTM channels.
Assist with account management activities and in all facets of seller planning. Develop, package, and deliver sales insights and recommendations to account management and marketing leadership.
Uncover best practices among account management teams and develop systems to share best practices across teams to improve performance through knowledge-sharing platforms, training, and communication
Partner with the account management and sales leadership to monitor and measure performance to collaboratively find areas of opportunity
Share the voice of sellers with the marketing team to ensure the best marketing tools are available to account management to improve conversion
Provide input into marketing messaging hierarchy and ensure consistency of messaging end to end to effectively communicate the customer benefit to prospective buyers ie. ensuring marketing collateral is up to date, accessible and effective
Ensure that all stakeholders are kept fully informed of project status, issues, and progress and be the single point of contact for account management to marketing i.e. measuring seller performance to identify areas of opportunities
Measure all key conversions from registrations to bidding to winning bids to maximize ROI from buyer demand across various channels
Manage the GTM plan for private marketplaces based in Boston, MA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
3-5 years of business experience leading complex marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution
Must possess the ability to successfully develop and drive a program from concept to execution and evaluation against qualitative and quantitative objectives
Ability to build, execute and support channel marketing programs and campaigns that will drive more buyers and more GMV to B-Stock's private marketplaces
Ability to prioritize and make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest impact near-term levers
Influences effectively across cross-functional teams and works collaboratively to deliver results
Innovative mindset, ability to lead organization in the best path to grow faster
Analytical, defines what goals look like, and rallies teams around these key metrics
Periodic travel to customer locations and to B-Stock's offices in Belmont, CA.
