Ziegler Corporate Finance team is focused on delivering best-in-class advisory and financing solutions for companies and organizations across the healthcare industry. In our core practice areas of healthcare services, information technology, hospitals and senior living, Ziegler is one of the most active M&A firms offering innovative sell-side, buy-side, recapitalization/restructuring, equity private placement and strategic partnering services.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Ziegler is seeking a well-established Senior Vice President to join the firm’s Corporate Finance Healthcare team. Leveraging long-standing relationships with hospital and senior living providers, physician leaders, healthcare services, and healthcare information technology firms, Ziegler provides unique insight into the emerging trends and the future direction of the industry. The team focuses on customized merger, acquisition, and capital raising solutions, including buy-side, sell-side, restructuring advice, strategic partnerships, and equity and debt private placements.
The Senior Vice President will be responsible for the development and delivery of value-added investment banking products and services to clients and prospects, partnering directly with an external banker on client engagements.
The Senior Vice President will be responsible for the following:
- Providing lead support and direction on prospective and live transactions;
- Assist with the execution of M&A and financing transactions, financial modeling, industry and comparable company analysis;
- Assist in the preparation of standard and tailored presentations and pitches;
- Assisting in research of industry information, individual clients and prospects;
- Enact strong written and verbal communication skills with all organizational levels;
- Assume full responsibility and accountability for own actions;
- Demonstrate uncompromising adherence to ethical principles;
- Be proactive and demonstrate readiness and ability to initiate action and see projects to completion;
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within the team;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Professional qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in healthcare, M&A, finance or business.
- A BA/BS with demonstrated coursework in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related subjects.
- Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, project management and collaboration skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and teamwork skills.
- Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
