Marketing Director

  • Set and lead the overall corporate brand strategy and identity.
  • Develop corporate messaging and train all stakeholders on how to leverage.
  • Implement and manage marketing programs including website strategy, social media, advertising, blog content and campaigns.
  • Manage the corporate website including new content, materials and a blog.
  • Support new product and service launches by recommending communications plan and initiatives to drive awareness.
  • Create presentations for various stakeholders covering areas such as company presentations, board decks, client training, etc.
  • Oversee the development of all corporate materials including product and service collateral.
  • Research potential new market segments including competitive landscape, key prospects and overall opportunity.
  • Coordinate tradeshows including show strategy and messaging, booth design, staff training, lead tracking and pre and post follow up.
  • Develop a lead engine to provide qualified leads to the sales team by implementing creative campaigns
  • Develop the process to manage leads including capturing, tracking and appropriate follow-up. Track leads by channel, revenue opportunity and closed/won.
  • Manage promotional materials and giveaways
  • Gain recognition for company by applying for awards including local and market-specific opportunities.
  • Help drive the company culture with necessary campaigns, materials, signage and presentations.
  • Partner with the sales team to support sales initiatives and client requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of marketing experience as a “generalist.” This requirement is not flexible. (Marketing for oil and gas products and services a plus.)
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, advertising, communications or similar degree.
  • Proficient in graphic design software – must be able to create marketing materials from start to finish.
  • Intermediate website design & coding – need to update and maintain website, including adding new pages.
  • Expert level PowerPoint skills – must be able to create dynamic, professional and engaging presentations independently.
  • Experience in branding is required, with involvement in a rebrand a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter that can drive initiatives from start to completion with little guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
  • Outgoing, high energy and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be able to work in-office. Remote communicating not available.
  • Must have portfolio of prior work to showcase experience and creativity.
