Azimuth Corporation is looking for potential professionals to support an NGA Research customer providing strategic, programmatic, and administrative support for existing and planned R&D programs, market research of existing state of the art technologies, acquisition of new capabilities, and organizational management.

NGA Research sets the vision and mission for GEOINT R&D at NGA and the NSG, ensuring that NGA Research's priorities line up with NGA Mission Imperatives, Operational End States, and long-term planning. The Contractor shall provide strategic planning to the NGA Research Front Office (RFO) to include the Director (D/R), Deputy Director (DD/R), Chief of Staff (CoS), Office Directors (ODs), and Senior Scientists (SSs) to ensure positioning NGA Research to respond to the changing threat, environmental and operational needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain a working level understanding of the NGA organization and its corporate business rhythms as well as an understanding of applicable IC, DoD and NGA policies, instructions, regulations, and guidance.
• Notify office leadership and management of organization changes and requirements that affect the day-to-day operations and delivery of new technology to NGA and NGA partners.
• Build, use, and save pilots/scripts using, but not limited to, Python, R, JAVA, or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to increase productivity and reduce repetitive tasks while using applications such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, IDLE, Adobe Photoshop, ArcGIS, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, or any other application approved for use on NGA's computer networks.

Requirements

• Experience preparing and editing correspondence, reviewing guidance, and distilling information for distribution. Ability to provide timely coordination and distill responses from multiple parties with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate actions pre and post meetings. Experience providing logistics and management support to Executive staff, including coordinating and entering travel into MET and DTS. Understanding and adherence to Agency policies and procedures. Functions with minimal supervision.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in communications, psychology, management or equivalent degrees.
• Equal to or greater than 10 years of work experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active security clearance
