Pay Range:

Full Time: 

  • Unlicensed: $41,392.00 per year (exempt/salaried)
  • LPC and LMFT: $54,000.00 per year (exempt/salaried)
  • LCSW: $58,000.00 per year (exempt/salaried)
  • PsyD: $65,000.00 per year (exempt/salaried)

Part Time: 

  • Unlicensed: $19.90 per hour (non-exempt/hourly)
  • LPC and LMFT: $25.96 per hour (non-exempt/hourly)
  • LCSW: $27.88 per year (non-exempt/hourly)
  • PsyD: $31.25 per year (non-exempt/hourly)


Eligibility for Bonuses: Sign-on Bonus $500.00-$1000.00

Location: Crossroads at Grandview

Description of Responsibilities:

Utilize a working knowledge of crisis treatment approaches to provide crisis intervention and emergency evaluation services for all populations.  Assist in coordination of crisis intervention services in the areas of continuity of care, discharge planning, and documentation.

Physical demands:

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between AHS locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. AHS may make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Required Experience:

  • Required Education and Experience
    • Education: Master’s Degree in Human Services
    • Minimum Certifications: Colorado License Eligible/Licensed LPC, LMFT, LCSW in the State of Colorado.
    • Degree/Level: Master’s Degree
    • Minimum Experience: n/a       
  • Preferred Education and Experience
    • Education: n/a
    • Minimum Certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.

    • Minimum Experience:
      • Crisis intervention experience.
      • Experience in an emergency services setting or demonstrated competency. 
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding patient health information and HIPAA compliance.
  • Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow guidelines.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to follow the organization’s confidentiality and security rules.

Required Skills:

  • A working knowledge of crisis treatment approaches and their applications to clients with emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse problems.
  • Ability to perform mental status evaluations, differential diagnosis, and service coordination duties.
  • Ability to assess level of risk and treatment approaches and their applications to clients with emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse problems. Make appropriate clinical judgment for
  • resolution of client emergencies to a safe outcome.
  • Ability to deliver services in various community locations.
  • Working knowledge of Colorado Revised Statutes 27-65 (Mental Health Code)
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR.
  • Knowledge of community health and mental health resources and their eligibility criteria.
  • Knowledge of community health and mental health resources and their eligibility criteria.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment including scanner, computer, calculator, copy machine, fax, and multi-line telephone.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and ability to access the internet.
  • Ability to be helpful and sensitive to the needs of all employees, while concurrently respecting corporate policies, procedures, and priorities.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate job-related information to individuals and small groups.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; plan own work schedule effectively and multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes-hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to concentrate in sometimes hectic and stressful settings.
  • Ability to read and understand written materials.
  • Must regard work as confidential.
  • Must have current driver’s license, qualify for commercial vehicle insurance, and maintain a driving record that allows insurability with AHS’ insurance agency.
