Axios Professional Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing company in the Muskegon area for a Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for tactical execution and delivery of the marketing strategy initiatives to achieve significant and sustained growth.
This position is aligned with supporting the commercial growth objectives through a multi-channel marketing approach geared towards driving incremental new customer acquisition, existing customer cultivation, retention and reactivation.
•Develop and maintain data-driven marketing plans for all product lines and/or markets that supports the established strategy. The goal is to maximize market positioning in accordance with customer insight, market trends and drivers and Essentra’s differentiators within the competitive landscape.
•Monitor and analyze the performance metrics and trending of current marketing initiatives. Ensure that leads via tradeshows, online inquiries, customer requests, etc. are effectively transitioned to sales with a mechanism to track follow-up and follow-through.
•Produce and adhere to a tactical multichannel marketing schedule which includes catalog launches, email campaigns, direct and electronic marketing, advertising and trade shows. Maintain a comprehensive analytics portfolio to determine ROI and to drive future campaigns based on best demonstrated practices.
•Promote marketing efforts through catalog, brochures, website, social media platforms, advertising and trade shows. Identify and build distinct competitive advantages. Develop detailed understanding of markets size/growth and market share for priority product segments.
•Work closely with the Product Management team to successfully commercialize new products, provide feedback on marketing effectiveness by product category and support range rationalization efforts.
•Develop and mentor direct reports in the areas of advertising and promotion, digital marketing and ecommerce, trade marketing, business development, and marketing research and analysis.
•Exhibit strong sense of urgency, execution and accountability.

•Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business or related engineering field required.
•Minimum of 3+ years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
•Proficiency in project management methodologies.
•Passion for data, reporting, analysis and systems.
•Advanced Excel, data modeling and analysis skills.
•Proven track record in budget management and tracking
•Proven track record with B2B marketing metrics and managing day-to-day projects.
•Familiarity with other marketing tools Google analytics, ad-words, remarketing, etc.
•Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build consensus across organization.
