Director of Operations/VP of Operations

Role:

The Director/VP of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. He/She is an experienced leader with business operations, communications, strategy, and technical experience to work alongside the COO.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of department managers.

Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.

Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.

Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

Providing COO and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations

Identifying and providing recommendations on improvements across the organization

Collaborating with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability

Qualifications:

5-8 years experience in an operations role

Studio operations experience a plus

Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.

Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.

Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency

Results driven and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
