They need a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in NC. Providers deliver assessments and ongoing medication management, in an interdisciplinary team, to ensure the combination of therapy techniques and medication are used for the best patient outcomes.

Education & Experience:

  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant
  • PMHNP or equivalent PA program degree
  • Current valid medical license for NC
  • Board Certified Mental Health NP or PA
  • DEA License
  • 1+ years' experience in Psychiatric Mental Health care.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of addiction, mental illness, and related issues.
  • Knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies, and outcomes
  • of models of treatment recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations.
  • Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Pay Rate/Compensation Package:

  • For a 40-hour per week APP: $110,000-130,000 annually on an RVU compensation model.
  • Offering a $2,500 per-year licensing and CEU package, reimbursement.
  • Client will pay for their malpractice insurance, and it's a very strong policy.
  • 5.5 weeks of vacation built into compensation model
  • Offering flexible schedules. As long as you are available 40 hours/week, you can come early & leave early or come late & leave late or whatever. Within reason of course!
