We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to join the Performance Polymers Sales organization. In this role, you will deliver profitable, double-digit revenue growth at key regional and national accounts in the U.S. and Canada. You will be responsible for developing customer account plans, fostering customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and coordination of customer facing company resources to commercialize new and innovative products. As part of a growing business within Avery Dennison, you will report to our Global Commercial Director and be based anywhere within the assigned territory.
Critical Objectives & Outcomes
+ Responsible for the customer relationships and all related account activities.
+ Uncover and assess customer needs and develop a plan to execute mutual value creation.
+ Provide product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing and service information on demand.
+ Provide product quotes and actively utilize value-selling tools and skills. Establish pricing programs and strategies that grow volume and improve profitability.
+ Collaborate and develop positive relationships with Customer Service, Technical Service, Product Management, Operations and other Sales Team members to deliver impressive service and products to customers.
+ Work with Product Management to plan and implement product line programs including new product launches/commercialization and customer support.
+ Collaborate with other business units to evaluate volume, identify trends, ensure quality, and monitor budgets.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
+ 6+ year's applicable sales or related experience is required. Knowledgeable in pressure sensitive adhesives, coating and processing technologies preferred.
+ Confirmed self-starter eager to uncover and close business growth opportunities.
+ Validated negotiation skills/experience and demonstrated track record of sales growth and success.
+ Excellent financial skills and eye for business.
+ Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
+ Excellent listening skills and communications.
+ Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Salesforce.com and other function specific software.
