Certified Caregiver (12 Hrs) Overnights

We are seeking Certified Caregivers to join the Avenir team! The work week consists of 3 1/2 days on and 3 1/2 days off - 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am and 1/2 day on Wednesdays. You will assist in the daily care of our residents that have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or like Dementias to enhance their quality of life, preserve their sense of independence, and uphold their dignity.

Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Conduct and assist activity department with resident activities

Qualifications:

• Arizona Caregiver Certificate
• Previous experience in Memory Care preferred
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPR/1st Aide certification

• Two-step tuberculosis screening
• Drug Screening
