Biomedical equipment repair. Involves all aspects of complete customer service; must present well, be courteous and polite and have the ability to explain service repairs to the client.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience necessary for service tech position. Instrument diagnostics also important.
Service technician needs valid drivers license, must be “insurable” with existing fleet policy. High school diploma, some college or trade school helpful.
Will be required to take and pass drug tests. Work requires normal TB tests and MMR as well as flu shots.
Heavy lifting is part of the job. Must be able to work and walk with heavy tools, potentially long distances and lift at least 50 lbs overhead.
Servicing area: MD 270 corridor, Bethesda, DC and N. VA.
Work days & hours Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM. Some weekend and overtime expected.
Highly reputable service company needs technician to perform installation, diagnostics and regular customer service calls as part of an established team. Company service vehicle and tools are provided.

Job Requirements Candidates for service technician position will preferably have biomedical field service experience. An understanding of autoclave service and prior experience very helpful. Should have a sound mechanical and electrical aptitude, a strong customer service focus, and excellent customer contact skills. Service and instrument diagnostics in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields are highly desired. Some college is preferred but not necessary.
