General Clerk IIHarrisburg, IL (Saline Co.)JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: The General Clerk specialist will assist a US federal agency by providing clerical and administration functions. Process/prepare/monitor/track, maintain documentation. Compile and file documentation.

Ensure document accuracy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the finding and collecting of completed Compliance DeterminationsUpdate Compliance databaseMailing completed Determinations to producersReview field office files to find all Highly Erodible (HEL)/Wetland determinationsSeparate Determination files by geographic locationsConfirm file information matches correct location of landConvert existing Compliance Determinations file system to a new file systemFile, Scan documents and create map index of the field or tract location of these DeterminationsUsing ArcGIS, find property locations using Township, Range, Section on the Common Land Unit (CLU) layerSet point in ArcGIS on the CLU layer creating an indexScan existing Determination into a pdf fileLink index to the file and the archived Determinations folderName the file using the designated naming conventionUpload the file to the Compliance shared driveSet up hard copy folder to be placed back into the filing systemCheck for and compile duplicate DeterminationsOther:US Citizenship requiredSubmit to an FBI fingerprint checkSuccessful adjudication of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)Possession and maintain a proper state issued motor vehicle licenseEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of relevant experience with clerical and administrative tasks Knowledge and experience in general office procedures such as preparing documents and filing tasksProficient in word processingKnowledge and experience using a variety of computer hardware and software applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams)Knowledge and experience with Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalAbility to use internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Microsoft EdgeAbility to learn and assist with entering and maintaining information in agency-specific applicationsKnowledge and experience operating small office machinery such as calculators, fax machines, scanners, postage meters and copy machinesFamiliarity with certified mail and return-receipt mailing proceduresPreferred experience with ArcGIS or have the ability to learn the applicationCapable of working independentlyMust read, write, speak and understand the English language fluentlyEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimumEOE, including disability/vets
