Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, performance-driven Service Manager with a track record of success in automotive repair. The successful candidate will deliver high levels of customer satisfaction, exhibit the highest ethical behavior, and consistently achieve performance goals. A service advisor who is a self-starter and has excellent people and phone skills. Specific employment terms will depend on a candidate’s background, but the Meineke incentive-based compensation structure rewards those who achieve their goals.

Responsibilities / Duties

Customer Service

· Build a positive relationship with customers. Go above and beyond to “WOW” the customer

· Maintain "YES" atmosphere. Find ways to say yes to customers and ensure they leave satisfied

· Welcoming customers & proactively communicating with them throughout entire visit.

· Educating customers on vehicle e-inspection results, communicating the benefits and value of any needed work, answering any questions, and performing any needed services

· Invoicing customers – reviewing work scope, seeking feedback, scheduling follow-ups, etc.

· Verify inspections are being performed consistently and accurately on all vehicles. Spot-check & maintain training on inspection procedures as needed

Culture & Team

· Cultivate positive, productive team environment.

· Encourage teamwork, positivity, and accountability among all team members

Sales & Center Performance

· Meet weekly and monthly goals for call conversion, e-inspections completed, car count, average repair order value, overall center sales, etc. to ensure center profitability.

· Follow phone procedures at all times; incoming and outgoing

· Maintain detailed knowledge of point-of-sale system. Be able to work through a repair ticket quickly and efficiently

· Track cores, returns, warranty claims daily to ensure accuracy

· Accurately enter pricing and cost of goods into point-of-sale system on every ticket

· Order parts from approved vendors in a timely manner; track arrival and verify with technician immediately to ensure parts are correct

Qualifications / Skills

· 1+ years of prior automotive service advisor experience or 5+ years as sales / customer service leader in a related role. Ability to think creatively when dealing with customers

· Experience working with point-of-sale software or complex Windows software

· Excellent people and phone skills

· Proactive self-starter

· Ability to multi-task

· Interest in automotive industry & prior automotive repair leadership experience a huge plus


· $50k-80k depending on Experience

· Spiff/commission plan
