ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Design and program PLC control panels and HMI interfaces as well as design servo systems.
- 3+ years' experience with PLC programming with Allen Bradley preferred.
- Specify control system components for company controls engineering standards and customer/application requirements.
- 3+ years' experience with programming motion controllers such as Delta motion controllers and Allen Bradley PLC platforms
- Specify control system components for company controls engineering standards and customer/application requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to ensure that control system specifications match the specifications and abilities of the mechanical system and devices.
- Design complete hydraulic systems for new equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical prints and to modify prints in AutoCAD.
- Manage AutoCAD Electrical software, drawings, and templates.
- Strong understanding and application of control and relay logic.
- Perform commissioning of newly installed equipment, including high voltage electrical control panels, PLCs and field instrumentation.
- Perform troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation and mechanical equipment and components.
- Strong communication with all levels of peers and customers to organize site action plan.
- Ensures equipment is operating per customer or OEM specification at the completion of any field service implementation or intervention.
- Phone support of customer systems for service and trouble-shooting of operating issues.
- Experience with design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferred.
- Experience with PC communication and Visual Basic programming is preferred.
Up to 20% travel is typically in the US but will include some travel outside the U.S. Travel will be required while supporting customers and working with OEM partners. Trips are usually less than 5 days but may be up to 2 weeks.
- Unrestricted US Passport is required.

- BS in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar degree is preferred
