Vision For This Role
ASD® has an aggressive growth goal of doubling our revenue over the next 3 years. Critical to this goal is identifying, recruiting, and hiring people who will drive this outcome. Sales Representatives at ASD® are charged with establishing and growing their own book of business that will help us achieve our revenue goals.
ASD® Sales Representatives have the opportunity to earn unlimited commissions. Anyone who is able to establish and grow a sales pipeline should earn no less than $100,000 in commissions in addition to their base salary by their third year of employment.
Job Brief
Selling ASD®’s core services is a difficult proposition that requires focus, determination and grit. Building a qualified pipeline and establishing a sustainable book of business requires extensive networking, cold-calling, emailing, and social media efforts. ASD® provides countless sales tools and processes that aid our sales force to thrive. When a Sales Representative sells a project to a client, their job is only beginning. ASD® Sales Representatives serve as the Quarterback for the project team. They provide leadership, encouragement, and accountability to the internal ASD® project management team while also continuing to be the primary point of contact for the client. This level of involvement in each project allows ASD® to sell once and service forever.
What You Will Be Selling
ASD® is able to be a single point of contact across a complex organization - IT, Facilities, and Development - while delivering multiple technologies to a construction project simultaneously. You will have the opportunity to sell multiple lines of service for multiple technologies. Any business that requires internet, security, or phone systems is a potential client.

Service Offering
Design - ASD® offers objective and superior technology design services for commercial and governmental projects. Our services include planning systems & budgets, designing all required technology systems.
Build - ASD® offers large, single-site project management of any or all technology offerings. These projects can be new construction or renovation projects.
Deployment - ASD® is capable of installing technologies in dozens, hundreds, or thousands of client sites within condensed timelines.
Support - ASD® provides support services in all of our technologies anywhere in the country.
Responsibilities
Develop a thorough understanding of ASD®’s internal processes and procedures.
Develop a thorough understanding of ASD®’s service and technology offerings.
Execute ASD®’s process for establishing a sustainable long-term sales pipeline:
Prioritize enough cold calls each day that will establish communication with qualified contacts in potential client organizations.
Network on social media platforms such as LinkedIn to establish contacts within potential client organizations.
Create and maintain relevant email campaigns to qualified contacts within potential client organizations.
Utilize lead generation platforms such as Hubspot and ZoomInfo to target specific contacts with potential client organizations.
Capture critical information from client contacts regarding project requirements and deliver to the Sales Engineering team for accurate quoting.
Coordinate proposal meetings with clients and internal ASD® post-sales engineers.
Consistent follow up with internal and external project stakeholders - client’s representatives and ASD® engineering and project management staff from proposal creation through project completion.
Accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales projection reporting to ASD® management.
Maintain detailed information regarding potential and closed business opportunities.
Hold clients accountable for timely payments through the full project life cycle.
Requirements
3 years of sales experience or suitable alternative - recruiting, fundraising, business ownership.
Prefered experience with some or all of ASD®’s technology offerings.
Prefered experience with technology comparable to ASD®’s technology offerings.
Experience working with construction timelines - from architectural planning to final punch lists - is a plus
