Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is capable of taking lead on projects, comfortable building relationships, curious, and cares about getting the customer the right result.

Responsibilities

• Speak with clients on the phone and in person to understand business needs

• Create functional specs with development team using existing templates to translate

  business needs to blueprints for development

• Maintain documentation and write new documentation as needed, working with the

  development and business teams

• Understand and can explain the benefits of, and how to use, marketing technologies

  including content management, merchandising, loyalty, campaign, and other automated

  marketing platforms

• Facilitate client acceptance and testing as needed, including building out new sites,

  creating test scripts, capturing defects, and advising clients on methodologies. May work either independently with clients, or with a senior business analyst on some engagements

Experience

• Ability to write technical documentation is required

• Experience writing business and functional requirements, as well as test scripts, is

  preferred

• Experience with marketing automation platforms or similar technical skill set is required

• Consulting experience is a plus

Computer Skills

• Familiarity with Agile development tools such as JIRA is preferred

• Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Confluence is preferred

• Familiarity with analytical tools such as web crawlers, website analytic reports,

  accessibility measurement tools, or automated QA tools a plus

• Familiarity with presentation tools such as business process charting, Powerpoint a plus
