Senior Project Manager – Energy Facility
Salary $180,000 - $195,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation Packages
PLEASE NOTE: You must have experience in Nuclear or Energy Plant.
This Facility provides chemical conversion for commercial use in the nuclear and energy operations. This Senior Project Manager for this facility will be responsible for delivering subject matter expert guidance to the organizations work activities. The specific assignments will include duties and activities to support maintenance, operations, health and safety and other functions during equipment outages and other conditions.
In this Senior Project Manager role, you will monitor operational aspects of on-going projects and serve as a liaison for project management and planning, project teams, and line management. You will guide the projects and aid in resolutions to any issues. The Senior Project Manager will offer expertise on the day-to-day activities of the plant in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. You will also recommend mechanisms for monitoring project progression and for problem solving and intervention with other project managers, line managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Other responsibilities will include immediate action to stop or mitigate abnormal operations of plant systems and components, provide technical direction for work activities which include operation of process, equipment, and support systems. As the Senior Project Manager, you will propose the direction of development for operating procedures to support the operational readiness review, testing, operation, and start-up of this conversion facility.
The Senior Project Manager should possess a strong organization skillset that can reflect the ability to adapt to various competing demands, successful implementation of time management and have the highest level of customer service and response. You will also need to have demonstrated ability to apply organizational practices, policies, and procedures while directing a wide variety of related legal and administrative tasks, which includes maintaining judgement and discretion to safeguard highly sensitive information and documents.
Minimum Requirements for this Senior Project Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 14 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of nuclear experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12)
