Aurum Aspen/ Snowmass is seeking a qualified and talented bar lead to join the team!

Why You? 

You are an outgoing, creative, and efficient bartender who provides friendly and attentive service to create exceptional experiences for all guests. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the exciting energy of a busy service, even mid-week. You have a minimum of 2 years' experience behind a full-service bar and can conceptualize and execute craft cocktail recipes. 

The Bar Lead must help design and demonstrate systems that promote a smoothly running bar and lounge area and will always help maintain a positive attitude and cohesive team mentality.  

The Day to Day. 

Conceptualize, prepare, distribute and manage bar documentation (recipes, cocktail overviews, prep lists, stock par lists etc.) 

Exhibit artistry by creating and executing seasonal cocktails and special cocktails and writing creative and relevant cocktail menus. 

Ensure beverage stock is diligently controlled by overseeing ordering, receiving and inventory. Monitor cost of goods and diligently work to meet cost goals. 

Keep beer walk-in, cooler spaces & liquor room clean, organized, and in good order. Maintain clean and comfortable spaces for guests to enjoy. 

Work to improve the communication between the bar, kitchen, and management. 

Lead by example and ensure that the bar team is positive and upbeat at all times. Perform professionally, but with humor. 

Monitor and observe guests dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any guest requests. Communicate with management team about guest satisfaction. 

Maintain TIPS certification and enforce all laws relating to alcohol sales. 

Compensation - $13 - $16 per hour plus tips and access to our comprehensive benefits program after 60 days.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $30.00 - $40.00/hour.
