Aurora Community Services Administrative Department provides comprehensive organizational services that support company operations in accordance with state and federal regulations and laws.

The services we provide require a dedicated management staff that is committed to providing team-building leadership, motivational mentorship, professional communication skills, and the ability to deliver dynamic and customized services to our consumers.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the provision of advanced clerical, secretarial, and receptionist support for Aurora Community Services in the Spooner area.


  • Provide secretarial support for management staff
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Assist direct-line and management staff with issues/concerns
  • Obtain and assemble information for department use, such as staff development records, employee files, monthly packets, and MAPC forms
  • Perform data entry
  • Ensure files are up to date and papers/files are marked appropriately
  • Answer telephones and greet consumers, visitors, and others
  • Type and distributes correspondence
  • Schedule meeting/training rooms and coordinate calendars as requested
  • Attend program manager meetings and coordinate necessary supplies/resources for the meeting
  • Attend department/management meetings as scheduled
  • Assist in orientation/training of new team members
  • Record, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes within appropriate time-frames
  • Manage office funds
  • Purchase and re-stock supplies for office and sites
  • Effectively convey ideas and department needs using clear verbal and written communication
  • Protect Aurora's value by keeping information confidential
  • Ensure safe work practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • 18 years of age
  • Acceptable Background Character Verification
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year college/technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience/training, or equivalent combination
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer software applications such as Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Transcription experience is a plus
  • Medical terminology is a plus
