Job Description
Salary: $65-$75k per year BOE

Aurora Medical Spa was founded in 2006 in Des Peres, MO. After ten years of bringing excellent care to their clients, our founder and CEO, Paige Boyer, decided it was time to expand the Aurora experience. In 2023 We are proud to say we now have 6 locations spread across Missouri, Texas, and Colorado with aggressive plans for future growth. We are looking for a person who is willing to hop on and hold tight for the adventure that lies ahead. This position will work out of our Corporate Office in Des Peres, MO. The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and leading necessary changes within our dramatically growing organization. The solution-oriented changes will improve our overall efficiency, including process optimization, cost reduction, inventory analysis and identifying fresh business opportunities. This will be accomplished through research-gathering and data analysis, presenting a range of data-driven solutions, and thereafter implementing those solutions and optimizations using analytics tools and technologies. 


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include extensive knowledge around financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting, as well as having a clear understanding of reporting and regulatory requirements, key success factors, and performance indicators.

  • The ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical
    business requirements
  • The ability to analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions
  •  Developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes, which is a business analysts
    primary role
  • Being proficient in inventing processes or systems needed to implement changes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management regarding the
    implementation of changes
  • Sound knowledge and expertise in evaluating the implications of changes
  • Competence in writing reports and making presentations to highlight the effect of changes you made
  • Conducting tests, surveys, and workshops will be a part of your daily activity
  • Track and analyze inventory levels to identify discrepancies and work with spa location management to rectify them.
  • Assist with the deployment and execution of Aurora’s E-commerce business.
  • Manage aging of all open and unopened products.
  • Maintain the profile of each product in our POS. (Name, pricing, status, par level, expiration date.)
  • Monitor and manage order fulfillment from vendors.
  • Forecast specific needs for each location while maximizing vendor discounts or promotions.
  • Liaison with Marketing, IT, and Management to develop, improve, and execute operational effectiveness.


  • Technical Skills

To identify business solutions, business analysts should be fully aware of existing technology platforms and emerging technologies to determine potential outcomes they can achieve through current applications and new offerings. Designing business-critical systems is a crucial skill.

  • Communication Skills

The nature of a business analyst job involves interacting with developers, clients, end-users, and management. A projects success depends on how clearly business analysts communicate details like requested changes, testing results, and project requirements. Fluency in communication is a must-have skill.

  • Analytical Skills

Superior analytical skills to interpret and translate the needs of clients into operational processes. Having analytical skills to analyze documents, data, user surveys, and workflows, which will deliver problem-solving solutions, is a must have. 

  • Decision-Making Capabilities

Sound decision-making skills is a mandatory requirement. The Business Analyst should be capable of assessing inputs from stakeholders, analyzing a situation, and selecting the right plan of action. In terms of its survival ability and sustaining profits, the viability of an organization will depend significantly on the decision-making skills of business analyst.

  • Managerial Skills

From planning the scope of a project and directing a workforce, to forecasting budgets and managing change requests, being able to manage and prioritize their workload is a key skill required to be successful in this role. Being an interdisciplinary role, the business analyst should possess high-level managerial skills to handle projects from beginning to end.


Education & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of business management experience.
  • Proven data driven success in previous roles. 
  • Knowledge of inventory control methods, planning strategies, and technologies is a plus.

Pay: Salary $65-$75k per year based on experience and education
