The primary function of this position is to be the primary point of agency contact for assigned client(s) and collaborating with and project managing the cross-functional team to provide outstanding client service to achieve the client’s overall business objectives.
The Account Executive is responsible for project managing the day-to-day account workload, being the internal advocate for the client, tasked with building client relationships, retention, and growth of existing clients.
Manages the day-to-day needs of the client and maintains client contact and follow-up.
Coordinates and project manages the internal cross-functional team for meetings, projects, and time management.
Excellent client communication and the ability to establish a connection with client leadership and day-to-day client contacts.
Ensures client point of view is understood and client expectations and deliverables are met.
Project manages multiple projects and provides prioritization of projects to cross-functional teams.
Exhibits a thorough understanding of the client’s business and industry and anticipates problems and opportunities.
Develops a trusting relationship with clients in regards to the implementation and management of the contracted work the client is paying for.
Work with account directors to identify, manage, and champion ideas and integrated projects.
Manages a client book of business with the responsibility to grow the total revenue of the clients within the book.
Manages client profitability by monitoring and managing internal team hours spent on projects and expense budgets.
Ability to work with internal team on new business price estimates and create client-ready proposals and formal scopes of work.
Provide key client insights and set expectations that allow for the client and agency team to succeed.
Assists in brainstorming sessions internally, as well as with external client(s) and agency partners, with the goal of developing solutions that help clients succeed in social media and beyond.
Engages in the “Big idea” process by providing key insights and client expectations on the initial ask. Assists with presentation creation of how ideas could come to life in exciting ways that persuade clients to buy in.
Establish project deadlines by scheduling projects, setting priorities, and ensuring all necessary assets to complete a project have been obtained.
Create project schedules, track and monitor progress; follow up with team members as appropriate to ensure deadlines are met.
Effectively communicate project status to clients.
Manages 3rd party vendors and contractors to ensure their work is on track.

This position may require travel once a quarter, mostly domestic. Out-of-state and overnight travel is occasionally expected (when safe to do so).

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 2-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
