Manufacturing company seeking Assembler for contract to hire position.
shift: 7:00 am-3:30 pm
Assembler performs all tasks involved in the production and testing
. This includes pulling parts or subassemblies, building units or subassemblies to work order or as directed by team lead, supervisor or manager.
Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits, to ensure production and testing is as efficient and safe as possible.
Job Responsibilities:Reads work orders and performs work as assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager.Build, test and troubleshoot main and subassemblies.
Program or update programs and test all required assemblies or stand alone equipment as stipulated by Engineering.Test all vendor or in-house parts and sub-assemblies to insure functionality.
Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.
Fill out and maintain all required paperwork for the building and testing of all units, subassemblies or components as required
.Notify team lead, supervisor or manager of any mechanical or material issues.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Train other team members as necessary.Minimum Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent; and a minimum of two years experience in an assembly/production test environment relevant to mechanical and electronic devices. Strong mechanical/repair background a plus. Basic math ability and familiarity with computers and computerized systems and tools.
