Project Manager
Job Description

PURPOSE:
AIQ is seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep knowledge of project management
best practices. This role would take ownership of established project management processes
and take responsibility for growing and improving project management-related functionality to
meet our company’s vision of continuous operational improvement.
Working within the Client Services team, the Project Manager is primarily responsible for all
Client project life cycles by planning, scheduling, and tracking project plans to ensure projects
are completed and delivered on time.
The Project Manager is the liaison between the executive team, stakeholders, and cross-
functional teams, collaborating with these teams to ensure everyone has visibility of project
forecasts and any extra steps or actions needed to provide the best outcomes. Additionally, the
Project Manager will guide the project team, drive appropriate analyses, meet project goals, and
manage timelines.
This position will be highly hands-on, managing multiple tasks simultaneously with various
deadlines. Will be responsible for providing project support for our clients, strategy support for
front-line employees, delegating required tasks to appropriate internal resources, continuous
improvement training, and support for organizational staff. Will be responsible for presenting
information, both internally and externally, utilizing presentation software, and explaining data.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Manage large-scale initiatives and projects in a business service, consultative
environment.
 Continually assess projects in all stages; implement and assign appropriate next steps.
 Work with business department managers to define and document project scope,
requirements, timelines, and expectations.
 Identify project priority conflicts and report any issues affecting overall project delivery to
management for evaluation.
 Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders and the company executive
team about strategy, execution adjustments, and progress.
 Open and maintain lines of communication between the departments utilizing Gantt
charts, Kanban boards, project dashboards, and task lists.
 Set and execute strategic priorities, create internal communication strategies, and drive
priorities.
 Work closely with upper management to evolve processes to fit changing business
goals.
 Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for
improvement where necessary.
 Develop and maintain various ad-hoc reporting.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
 Reports to: Principal – Client Services
o The Project Manager will be onboarded and trained by the COO and then report
to the principal – Client Services.

 Individual contributor role that works within the Client Services team but will be
perceived and relied upon as a thought leader who will be empowered to provide
recommendations and give direction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
 3-5 years of project management experience in a Consulting, Financial, or Business
services role.
 Any project management certification is required, Project Management Professional
(PMP) certification is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
 Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best
practices.
 Experience with TeamworkPM or any project management software.
 Proficient with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
 Technical ability to create reporting utilizing various data sources.
 Familiarity with Google apps and Google collaborative tools.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to bridge knowledge gaps
internally and externally.
 Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to give attention to detail.
 Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline.
 Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
 Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
 Ability to work within a team but stay highly driven as an individual contributor.

JOB DETAILS:
Competitive salary based on experience and fit to our needs + Bonus potential based on
company performance.

The benefits package includes health and dental, 401K match, and PTO.
Remote working environment - This role is primarily a remote position with minimal travel
required based on client needs. The candidate will be provided with company equipment but
must have their own private office and a good internet connection. Candidates in Utah and
surrounding areas are preferred but not required.
Salaried position with the expectation to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
The company's primary business is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. mountain time zone.
However, employees may be required to accommodate adjusted work hours due to specific
circumstances to meet project deadlines and will be communicated in advance.
