Part time medical assistant will be responsible for calling and seating patients in medical clinic treatment rooms, taking vitals, assisting with minor and major foot surgical procedures, assisting with casting and bracing procedures, documentation, data entry into medical software program and all other medical assistant duties applicable in a medical office setting as needed by the physician or office manager. Candidate must be a caring people person who enjoys helping people in need. The candidate must be mature and responsible with a strong work ethic and of a strong moral character. The candidate will start at a base wage and can advance to full time status as work ethic and a strong work performance is demonstrated. Bonuses will be provided regularly for the right candidate. The candidate must dress well and professionally and speak and communicate in a professional language and demeanor. The individual must desire to advance and be willing to work hard and develop themselves. Strong computer skills are a requirement including the use of microsoft office, basic internet skills and other computer usage needs as it applies to the job description. The individual must be a self starter and be able to work well without supervision and take pride in their own personal work. The candidate must be neat and organized and take pride in orderly work and workspace. The candidate must be capable of learning new and technical information quickly and efficiently. IN addition, the candidate must be willing to assist with marketing and promoting effective non-insurance covered services in the office and within the community.
