The basic function of a General Manager is to oversee and manage all phases of a bowling center operations; including budgets, personnel, operations, sales and marketing, in order to maximize profit in keeping with Auburn Bowl's objectives.Some characteristic duties and responsibilities of a General Manager include: Assist with outside sales, sales calls, inside sales, event coordinator Train new employees Cover all areas of daily requirements, i.e. counter help, cook, pinsetters, lane mait., etc. Establish and work within annual budgets.

Set a professional example in attitude, attendance, and work habits Be a Leader and lead by example Provide functional supervision of approximately 8-10 employees; assist with training , delegate work, and monitor progress Oversee and participate in outside promotional work to various groups and businesses within the community Oversee and participate in league formation efforts Oversee and assist in the operation of the control... desk Conduct weekly managers meetings; reviewing sales and labor, upcoming events, and any other concerns of the center Oversee and assist in the recruiting/hiring process Communicate with the company President on a regular basis regarding questions or problems with in the centerRequired SkillsQualification of a good candidate include: Bowling, retail, customer service and/or hospitality services experience. Knowledge of Brunswick equipment and operations.

Computer literate a must High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Bachelor degree in Business Management preferred.
