Job Description
Overview

As the Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in the customer experience, by serving as a front-line ambassador. You will guide customers through signing in at our queuing station, returning/exchanging equipment, and demonstrating our products and services while providing an exceptional customer experience.


Shift/Hours

9:45 AM - 6:00 PM (weekdays)

9:45 AM - 2:00 PM (Saturdays)


Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and greet customers as they walk in the store and ensures customers have a warm and friendly goodbye when leaving store
  • Capture name, reason for visit, take all equipment from customer and gives him/her the card filled out with the last 4 of the UPC
  • Efficiently manage customer queuing area from waiting area to appropriate service area in store
  • Identify effective ways to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Attentively respond to customer inquiries, problems, and complaints and refers them to the appropriate associate
  • Keep all equipment stocked
  • Keep all drawers stocked with equipment and marketing materials
  • Empty returned equipment cart regularly – including carts at stations
  • As time permits, demo the mini box, connection steps and the TV industry page with customers in line for mini box (customer education)
  • Support bill payments at kiosk as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
  • Ability to meet established customer experience targets
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment while being on your feet most of the day.
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory.
  • Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet customers and demonstrate products and services

Workplace Environment

This role is located in a client retail store, not a call center environment.
