What you'll do:
  • Develop reliability program for Atom Power and drive business adoption and execution to progress products through reliability characterization, qualification, and production release
  • Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight of the reliability engineering program and serve as the subject matter expert in device and system reliability
  • Facilitate reliability test planning & execution as part of a cross-functional project team, ensuring high quality, high reliability deliverables to market
  • Support all new product development and sustaining engineering activities with reliability expertise in accelerated testing, hardware design, software development, manufacturing, and device/product/system reliability
  • Perform life data analysis by applying quantitative methods, forming recommendations toward product reliability improvement and product warranty
  • Maintain all reliability lab partnerships, internal lab capabilities, reliability test data, and reliability programs
  • Establish correlation of field performance to reliability testing to provide recommendations to enhance reliability testing and improve reliability prediction
What you bring:
  • Bachelors in Engineering (ME/EE/RE) with 10 years or Masters with 7 years of related experience
  • Strong reliability engineering expertise and discipline across the product development lifecycle, encompassing systems including electronics, thermal mitigation, environmental enclosures, and software-defined functionality
  • Expertise in accelerated testing (Reliability Demonstration Testing, Ongoing Reliability Testing), reliability prediction methodologies, and reliability analysis (Availability, Soft Error Rate, Derating, Reliability Modeling)
  • Discipline in using quality and reliability tools such as Design for Reliability, FMEA, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, Design Of Experiments, and Six-sigma methods to ensure reliable products
  • Proficiency in data and statistical analysis (DOE, SPC, Maintainability & Availability, Life Data Analysis, HALT/HASS) and tools (JMP, Weibull+, Block Sim, Reliasoft)
  • Track record of leading programs for end-to-end system reliability
