We are seeking a full-time Treasurer/Bookkeeper who can maintain an organized, level head under high demand workload and fast paced environment.

The treasurer/bookkeeper will serve as an integral part of our corporate staff team. Reporting directly to the VP of Asset Management, this position is responsible for maintaining the financial records of a company by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions of the company – including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact checking, filing, renovation tracking and other duties as needed. To be successful in this role, you should understand basic accounting principles, have proficiency with computers and software, and data entry experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Treasurer/Bookkeeper will assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The Treasurer/Bookkeeper will keep accurate records of financial transactions, monitor delinquent accounts, prepare monthly statements and financial reports, and prevent billing issues.

· Preparation of Treasury Reports

· Execute Day-to-Day Cash Management for management company and sites

· Rental collection tracking

· Mortgage and excess cash tracking

· Prepare Presentation Materials for Senior Management

· Internal tracking/reporting

· Day to day expense card management

· Vendor reconciliations and payments

· Bank reconciliation for management company and sites

· QuickBooks management

· Prepare renovation draws for submittal to lender and confirm renovation funds are received and spent accordingly

· Track renovation expenses and confirm designations and gl codes for accuracy

· Other duties as assigned


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree – accounting or finance preferred
  • Minimum 3-years of experience working in accounting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, or bank transactions
  • Prior experience in Multi-family property management or real estate
  • Customer-service oriented; friendly communication in speaking and writing
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information neatly and accurately
  • Ability to multitask and be extremely organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience in Quick Books required – Certification preferred; Experience in OneSite Realpage
