Security Specialist

Atlas Advisors, LLC (ATLAS) is looking for an experienced Security Professional who is excited and well versed on how to implement current Department of Defense (DoD) Security protocols that will help shape the future of our company’s talented current and future employees.

The perfect candidate will thrive in unstructured environments, be a people person, have experience in DoD security procedures (i.e. familiar with the acronyms and jargon) and a strong penchant for processing security clearances for the best-qualified talent using the perfect mix of technology, proven security process steps (some automated, some manual), and a desire to leave things better than they found it.

SECURITY SPECIALIST MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• US citizen
  
• Secret Clearance
  
• Local to the Columbus, OH area
  
• Minimum one (1) year security processing experience
  
• Good understanding of industrial security processing and procedures is encouraged
  
• Experience working with Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), Army Central Clearance Facility (CCF), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) highly desirable
  
• Experience with government programs such as DISS, ACCS, PSIP, e-QIP, SPOT and SCI processing recommended
  
• Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Supplement, the DoD Overprint, and DoD Manuals
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic and team environment
  
• Must have strong attention to detail and capable of operating within the confounds of varying contracts
  
• A relentless ability to “figure things out”
  
• Excellent written and oral reporting skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and customers across geographically dispersed sites
  
• Proficient with MS Office to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  

SECURITY SPECIALIST DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree
  
• Prior military experience
  
• Top Secret with SCI
  
• Experience with Google Suite tools, software and products
  
• Experience accomplishing meaningful, internally motivated objectives
