Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist is the first point of contact for the end-user. The main function of this role is to help customers with product related issues and questions, give customers information about products and services, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Supervisory Responsibility:



Customer Service:

Communicate with customers in a professional manner to assist with any questions and resolve complaints

Maintain positive relationships within Ateq and with Ateq partners.

Produce weekly reports for special accounts pertaining to follow up calls and status of instruments.

Database Assistance:

Assist in clerical duties pertaining to data entry and/or Research and Development.

Validation in the field for new vehicles and new functions being implemented.

Comparative analysis between competitors and internal abilities to identify potential

improvement opportunities. (Benchmarking)

Beta testing of all tool platforms with comprehensive reports.

Keeping testing materials well organized and available for use by various

departments including tech-support to verify customer issues and to facilitate follow

up on reported issues in a timely manner.

Answer Technical Support questions when needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Associate degree

1-2 years of experience in customer service or any customer relations field is required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Must have excellent communication skills.

Ability to manage a large volume of work efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
