Job Description

Astral Energy LLC, a recognized leader in energy procurement and energy management services, is a rapidly growing Regional Retail Energy Provider dedicated to providing best-in-class service to commercial & industrial businesses throughout the northeast of the United States.

We are seeking a self-motivated, highly driven, District Market Sales Manager to drive growth through the development and expansion of our markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to determine business drivers, build strategic channel partners, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life. This position will be responsible for driving sales, along with managing our supporting sales teams, in territories in the NY Metro Area and other respective key zones.

Background in POS or commercial insurance sales preferred.


  • Develop strategic sales campaigns for various markets to generate market penetration and growth via sustained performance
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to coordinate and develop sales activities across in-field teams, and other divisions
  • Utilize KPIs and benchmarks in the development of territories, and place a high level of urgency in all activities
  • Perform strategic follow ups to close new business, while maintaining current client base, and build trusted partnerships
  • Communicate ethically, effectively, and efficiently with prospective clients regarding our customized energy programs
  • Provide support initiatives by market monitoring and auditing price requests before sending to the Pricing Desk
  • Build key relationships with purchase influencers, DMs, through networking / prospecting, lead development and on-site visits
  • Communicate regularly regarding inquiries, feedback, issues and/ or concerns regarding sales activities and markets
  • Receive, document, and resolve all client inquiries and concerns

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and controls territory sales efforts in conjunction with Director of Sales
  • Assists in driving sales through referrals, prospecting, leveraging existing networks, and cultivating new relationships
  • Applies knowledge of company products / services and efficiently gathers information for the Analyst Division
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the client’s experience
  • Compile and generate reports as they relate to sales efforts, etcetera


  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of B2B progressive sales leadership roles (background in POS / commercial insurance sales preferred)
  • Sales Hunter and Closer Mentality – urgency driven
  • Computer Savvy – Email, Excel, Office Software, etcetera
  • Strong Leadership Qualities & Team Development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation, organizational and documentation skills

Schedule And Compensation

  • Hybrid - Corporate Office & Travel (not remote)
  • Salary plus commission - no commission cap
  • Monthly Residuals and Bonuses
