Customer Support Specialist | Rockville, MD | $17-$18/hr

Here’s your chance to start building your career with one of the area’s top companies. The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for working with customers through the complete customer journey from order, to fulfillment, to service, and you get to own the entire customer experience!

You’ll be answering incoming calls, service requests, and processing orders for commercial clients across an array of industries including hospitality, multi-family, corporate businesses, education, and even professional sports teams to maintain their fitness and wellness equipment and spaces. In addition to customer support, this role will focus half of their time helping internal teams and clients process new fitness equipment orders.

Because the team is growing, you’ll be trained in all aspects of the customer journey and the service support operations so that you may be able to provide support in any area the customer will need. This cross-training approach lends itself well to set the right person up for long term success and growth opportunities within the company.

A day in the role…

  • Answering inbound call or queued service requests from customers, technicians, and vendors.
  • Responding to email and web service requests
  • Assisting the sales team with quotes and making sure customers are getting accurate information in a timely manner
  • Monitor order tracking and order entry to confirm orders are being processed
  • Validating and updating customer information in Netsuite CRM system.
  • Making outbound calls to confirm scheduled service calls when needed
  • Inputting new customers into NetSuite CRM system.

Necessary Skills and Strengths:

Customer Service | Customer Support | Data Entry | Email | Microsoft Office

Core Experience:

  • 2+ Years of Customer Service experience
  • Call Center Experience

Additional Skills & Experience Preferred:

  • Order Processing or Order Entry Experience
  • CRM/ERP Experience
  • Netsuite Experience
  • Fitness Knowledge or Passion

 Someone who is customer focused and passionate about the customer experience, is willing to learn and be trained learn quickly, can pick up technical knowledge quickly, can answer the phone with confidence, can clearly and knowledgably articulate solutions and could handle calls from a CEO without hesitation, and is looking for the opportunity to build something long term and grow their knowledge and skillset.
