Leading Insurance Company, AssuredPartners - Tolman & Wiker, is seeking an Account Coordinator to add to their Commercial Lines team

Salary: 40,000 to 45,000 annually depending on experience 

Locations: We have two offices -

196 South Fir St. Ventura, California, 93001

 5001 California Ave Suite 150 Bakersfield, California, 93309

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM PST (full-time non-exempt) New-Hires MUST be able to go in the office.

Commercial Account Coordinator Role Summary:

Assist Commercial Account Managers and Level II/III Coordinators in the day-to-day service of assigned accounts, processing of documents, and maintaining of computer-based client files. Must provide prompt, accurate, and courteous account service to clients, co-workers, and insurance company representatives. Support and promote the companys purpose, vision, and mission. Always act in the best interest of the client and our firm. Must uphold and embody the corporate values of integrity, leadership, teamwork, respect, professionalism, and stability.


Commercial Account Coordinator Requirements:

  • One to two years Commercial Lines agency experience preferred and/or completion of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to obtain California Fire & Casualty Broker-Agent license within a reasonable amount of time
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software with the ability to quickly learn various other software programs.
  • Ability to accurately type 50 words per minute
  • Exceptional customer service skills as evidenced by prior experience in a client-oriented position
  • Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to work on several tasks at once with frequent interruptions while meeting sensitive timeframes
  • Excellent oral and written English communication and strong figure aptitude skills normally acquired through completion of college-level studies
  • MS Word/Excel proficiency

Commercial Account Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform clerical functions including scanning, sending facsimiles, photocopying, and other miscellaneous clerical support duties for Account Managers, Producers, and Level II and III Coordinators
  • Set up and transmit policy binders according to Account Manager instructions
  • Transmit or retrieve information using insurance company online systems including ordering MVRs and obtaining loss runs
  • Check Workers Compensation policies and process Certificates and Evidence of Property as directed
  • Document transactions (Activities) within T&Ws agency management system
  • Once licensed, participate in continuing education as needed to support the book of business and maintenance of insurance license
  • Other duties as assigned
