We are Assured Allies and we are reinventing the products that help make successful aging accessible to all older adults by bringing game changing wellness and financial products to hundreds of thousands of consumers across the U.S.
About the role:
The Visual Designer will play a key role in further building our corporate brand identity and story. As part of our growing brand marketing team, we're looking for someone who can toggle between lead corporate designer, out of the box thinker, and creative problem-solver. This new position, reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing & Communications, will design and produce a suite of print and digital assets to support our brand marketing initiatives. We are looking for someone with a learn-it-all mentality towards accessibility, digital best practices, and emerging technologies to help streamline creative work. You love the power of data to fuel smart design and have a knack for making complex concepts simple and easy to digest.
The position is located in Needham (Boston) MA.
Hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in office).

In this role, you will:
- Create and manage brand design systems and libraries to be shared by multiple teams.
- Promote, experiment, and push our design system, style guide, and process to create best-in-class design solutions.
- Concept and develop style guides, presentations, marketing collateral, videos, direct mail, social media, and trade show booth designs/signage/swag.
- Update our corporate website, creating compelling layouts, graphics, and templates to showcase our unique company story and product offerings.
- Research and gather inspiration, and stay up to date with competitors, new methods and trends applicable to the brand identity.
- Thrive collaborating with other brand stakeholders and creatives to visually craft our story.
Specific skills and experience that might help:
- 6+ years of relevant B2C and B2B design experience; preferable in-house, agency or startup environment.
- Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates knowledge of design best practices and sensitivities to accessibility, layout, typography, and color.
- Mastery of design principles and techniques: creative process; creative concept development; visual storytelling; traditional and vector illustration; composition; layout; photo manipulation; typography; file preparation.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch for Mac, Miro, Figma, Google Workspace.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles.
- Experience in developing modern, responsive, websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (with libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap).
- Flexible and comfortable with fast paced deadlines and prioritizing between multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication, self-management, and organizational skills.
- Collaborative by nature, contributing to a positive, team-centric culture.
BONUS
- Experience in insurance or healthcare.
- Motion design and or post-production experience with the older demographic (55+) in mind.
- Experience with advertising campaigns or highly conceptual creative work.
