Opportunity at a Glance

This position is responsible for creating marketing plans and implementing long and short-term marketing strategies in order to meet institution objectives.  This includes development and execution of marketing plans that competitively position the institution by establishing and maintaining a consistent image, marketing communications, branding initiatives, lead generation, targeted marketing activities, supply management and vendor selections.

  • Oversee Event Marketing responsibilities for all ACAMS events and work as a shared resource to the sales force, and other corporate departments, in support of their event needs
  • Oversee other team members and work closely with the Events Analysts and Coordinator to help develop his/her skills and learn the event planning process
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, onsite personnel, and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager in strategic planning of events calendar as far as two years in advance
  • Collaborate across departments to contribute to meeting design, agenda development, brand building, and event communications and marketing
  • Partner with content team to develop strategies leveraging existing content and access to industry communities to promote training events
  • Communications: provide consistent and clear communication of events program to all stakeholders, including internal briefing documents for specified events and conferences
  • Manage and execute events starting with the RFP process, through vendor contracting, planning, registration and on-site execution and execute additional ancillary events as they arise
  • Work with internal and external teams to design, document, and execute innovative multi-channel marketing programs for our events
  • Provide ongoing marketing support and material development for all event initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating ROI for all events. You are metric and driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
  • Budget Management: you will oversee, manage, and wrap-up event budgets with internal teams and vendors
  • Work closely with Senior Marketing Manager to Analyze and Report on Events Results
  • Write high-engagement social media content that reflects our brand's voice and collaborate with Content Marketing department to develop a variety of content marketing materials
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to the company's style guidelines, interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Implementation of new automated emails, programs, and dynamic content
  • Develop and implement effective email marketing strategy for selected brands to include email segmentation/targeting, ongoing testing and optimization to drive product sales and brand loyalty
  • Assist in the creation and development of various partner landing pages to include program benefit pages, travel destination pages, and more
  • Be proficient and have experience in automation, preferably in Eloqua and Drupal
  • Bachelor Degree in marketing or communications. Masters a plus
  • Native English Speaker
  • Project management skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of events marketing experience and B2B required; as well as managing staff.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet and web applications.
  • ROI measurement, metrics development to assess ROI, and data manipulation
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential, as position involves extensive contact with co-management and internal/external customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and financial principles. Extensive web site management/creative experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%.
  • Skilled in direct response marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, print communications, online communications and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time.
  • Experienced with com and Eloqua or other similar CRMs and marketing automation tools.
